1.    Background

As a part of the DELIVER in health project in Iraq to promote Durable Endeavors and Local Initiatives for Vulnerable Communities’ Empowerment and Resilience in Health, PUI will provide technical capacity building to their local partner Hope Makers Organization for Women. The training will focus on building the technical capacity of the HMOW staff in operational areas that are required for efficient operations management of HMOW and to their capacity needs

The training will specifically focus on:

Financial Literacy and Policy Development: Providing the Finance Manager with a deeper understanding of QuickBooks tool as an accounting tool. Accessing the services supported by the system including and not limited to, generating reports, BVAs, archiving, etc. How to manage restricted and unrestricted funds and establishing and preparing a finance policy consistent with the size of the organization and adaptable to potential expansion or downsizing and the tools used.
