INVITATION TO BIDDERS

TENDER NUMBER:- MCF/60/2024

1. Chemical Industry Corporation Mugher Cement Factory invites eligible bidders to participate in the bid for the supply of Rotary Kiln Inlet and Outlet Seals.
2. Eligible Suppliers could obtain tender documents by presenting a copy of their commercial registration certificate, renewed licenses (trade auxiliary) valid for the budget year, Value added tax registration certificate, and taxpayer registration certificate against payment of a non-refundable Birr 115.00 from the procurement department, Addis Ababa which located Beklo Bet Garad Mall office No-432-3-8 during working days from 8:00 A.M to 4:30 P.M local time.
3. Bids should be accompanied by a bid security of 2% in the form of a Certified Cheque (CPO) or Bank Guarantee which will be payable on first demand by CHEMICAL INDUSTRY CORPORATION MUGHER CEMENT FACTORY. And it should be counter-guaranteed in Ethiopian commercial banks.
4. Wax-sealed bids shall be delivered to the CHEMICAL INDUSTRY CORPORATION MUGHER CEMENT FACTORY procurement department, Addis Ababa Office on or before December 24, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. local time. Bidders should provide one original and One Copy of 'Technical' and one original 'Financial' document separately.
5. Bids (Technical Offer) will be opened on December 24, 2024, at 10:00 A.M local time in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives.
6. Information you enter the hard currency you are competing for (Euro or U.S. dollar or other) must be kept clear.
7. Bidders shall submit detailed specifications of each item under quote with their bidding document.
8. Failure to comply with the conditions from 2 to 7 above may result in/ an automatic rejection.
9. MCF reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
